Our Network Capabilities
The switching infrastructure of the Impact Telecom™ IP-based network is designed for carrier-grade performance with fully redundant architectures at the software and hardware level and geographical redundancies to maximize service uptime. The Impact Telecom™ native VoIP network can interface with SS7, ISDN, DTMF and VoIP protocols. The infrastructure also utilizes SIP, H.323 and MCGP protocols to manage the soft switches and application layer of the network.

Our disaster recovery protocol leverages our relationships with multiple Tier 1 domestic carriers. Traffic can be easily rolled over to one of these partners using our least cost routing capability.

Impact Telecom™ also uses state-of-the-art Acme Packet’s Transcoders to enable many codecs including G711u, G711a, G729, H323, and T.38.

NATIVE VOIP TERMINATION
Native IP Trunking provides customers with a business-grade VoIP alternative versus installing costly TDM gateways and PRI’s including support for industry standards including SIP or H.323, and Codec G.711 and G.729.
NON-NATIVE VOIP TERMINATION
Non-Native or Legacy IP Trunking provides a simple solution for converting legacy lines into VoIP with an IAD (Integrated Access Device). The IAD prioritizes all voice calls over data and includes a built-in router to access the network. The standard IAD will support PRI, T1 CAS or POT(s) lines.
Our toll-free origination boasts an inventory of numbers throughout the U.S. and Canada, with the ability to easily import existing numbers. We offer great rates by carrying all the traffic over our private network and can terminate the calls virtually anywhere.
